What it says on the tin. What do you want to hear on the show?

Hi Chris & Fee! As a continuation of the Welsh theme from last week, any chance of playing some Mabon? (Now that's how to play an accordion!!) Yours hopefully Maggie

Hi Maggie,
Thanks for the request (and sorry for the late reply!). I must confess I have no idea who Mabon is/are, but I shall investigate further and see if we can get our mits on an album.
Any other good Welsh tips?
Chris

M/S Nutbrown, As I am scarcely able to speak and write understandable English, I found the November 10th show somewhat eccentric and indeed, bizarre. Surely you have not already covered all of British folk music, let alone its descendant forms on the various continents? Accuse me of chauvinism by all means, but surely we should master our national styles before venturing into, for instance, the 32 scales in Indian music. I am still struggling with the known 69 mountain 5 string banjo tunings before attempting to play the un-fretted version. Any spare time is occupied with melodeon studies, which brings me to the fact that your vocal attributes only emphasise your beauty in Lester's Melnet Witney photographs. (How many Brownie points for that?) Bill, better known to you as C age ing, but your system does not allow gaps.

Surely you have not already covered all of British folk music, let alone its descendant forms on the various continents? Not by a long chalk. But we have wide ranging interests and like to share them with people. And it was an excuse to play Kylie too... Well, personally I like a challenge (I spent two weeks last summer learning Gaztelugatxeko Martxa off Kepa Junkera's Bilbao 00:00.....) What else is there to do with one's spare time? <blushes> Have you tried underscores: i.e. ' C_age_ing ' Cheers Fi

Bob Cann! Dartmoor Pixies! Moor Music! have you got any Giles,Metcalfe,Woods? Bloody hell! Just when you start thinking you could be a bit of an expert on a scene, some upstart brings up a load of artists you know nothing about! I'll put them on the blag list! Fee's the one with the Simon Ritchie CD so that's her responsibility. Chris
