Okay, I couldn't bring myself to delete Diane oft witty postings, so I've now set up a new thread called 'Official Playlists' where me or Fee will post the neat, sorted playlists all clear and in order.
Any kind souls can still use this thread to put up playlists that we've yet to post if they have the inclination. Thanks again.
Chris

Playlist for 27 October 2005
Peatbog Faeries: Scots On The Rocks Ola: Mingulay Boat Song James Raynard : Pass The Bottle Round Bedlam: Kendal Gill/Spotted Borders Barry Dransfield: Queen Of Hearts Chris Wood/Andy Cutting: History Man/Roseville Fair John Tams: The Bitter Withy Phil Beer: Jig/Reel from Instrumentals/Rhythm Methodist (you didn't say which!) Sian James doing something Welsh Pentangle: No More My Lord
in which programme you asked which BeeGees song Martin Carthy had recorded. This was New York Mining Disaster, as fine a folk song as you would ever wish to hear.
And the man who did bird impressions: Ronnie Ronalde? He whistled in the middle of songs. 'If I Were A Blackbird' springs to mind. Another fine folk song which is on Mary Humphreys & Anahata's CD 'Floating Verses'. But there was another one called Percy (?) who I think did all sorts of birds and animals. No idea why . . .

Diane, you officially rock! Or, better still, you folk! (Or perhaps 'you British roots' but that might be stretching it!)
