Hello all,
I’m sad to remind you that Thursday’s show (16th March) will be last ever Cool as Folk. We’ve had a great run and thanks for all your support. Still, as promised we’re going out with a bang. As you've probably heard, over the last couple of shows we’ve played you unreleased tracks by the likes of Kathryn Tickell and Corrina Hewatt, Elsie’s Band, The Boat Band, Fernhill and Julie Murphy.
Our last ever show will see us playing the last of our trio of Fernhill sessions, hopefully new tracks by Jackie Oats and my brother, James Conder, and most impressively, the world exclusive first play of ‘Roots’, from the new Show of Hands album, due in April. If possible, we’ll do a two hour show (by-the-way, for those who didn’t realise, last weeks show ended up going on for two hours in the end, just listen back to the Local bands show on 8-9pm as you would normally for the second half).
All of this terms shows are currently still available to listen back to or download, but won’t be for two much longer.
Chris

Well thank you and good night.
That's all folk (ha ha). Sadly the sound quality on the last show wasn't great, particularly on the Show of Hands track, so apologies for that. Still think it's perfectly listenable, and if you like them you'll have to go out and by the top qulaity CDs!
Thanks for all your support,
Chris
